Taimak (pronounced Tie-Mock) got his first taste for the entertainment business when he was very young. 
He had the privilege to meet legendary director Frederico Fellini. Mr. Fellini took Taimak on a tour of the set of “Roma” where he also met Vincent Minelli.  About ten years later, and after winning the New York State kickboxing championship, Taimak was cast by Motown legend Berry Gordy in the lead role of “The Last Dragon”.   He played the unforgettable Bruce Leroy, the Bruce Lee wannabe in search of “The Glow”.   Sony Pictures has recently taken on producing a remake of The Last Dragon.  Samuel L. Jackson signed on to play “Shonuff” in the new updated version, look out for Taimak to be in the picture aswell.
He was quickly catapulted to stardom and a career that has spanned over twenty years.  Taimak has appeared in over a dozens plays, including Roadhouse in 2004 at the Barrow Street Theater in New York City, playing the notable role of Dalton in this zany comedy rendition of Patrick Swayzes 80’s cult classic film.  He has recently teamed up again with the highly inventive Roadhouse director Timothy Haskell in an original stage play written by Eric Sanders. 
The show had a successful run in Williamsburg, NY at The Brick theater and again just recently at The Ohio Theater in SOHO, NYC..
As martial arts choreographer and trainer, Taimak has worked with Madonna on her Drowned World Tour with the rock group Bush on their “Chemical Between Us” video. He has guest starred on several television shows, including Ally McBeal, A Different World, and Third Watch and just last year he developed a wellness program for young people http://www.unfoldingdream.org.  He delivers the seminar in “at risk” communities around the country. 
Taimak is also a fitness expert that has helped thousands get in shape with his fitness DVD Create the Perfect Package.
